India has one of the largest and most ambitious renewable energy (RE) programmes in the world, with a target of 175GW installed capacity by 2022, including 60GW wind. The Government has taken a number of initiatives, by way of policy interventions and support mechanisms, to drive industry action in India’s wind sector. As of March 2019, wind accounts for 47% of India’s 74GW installed renewable energy capacity.
To understand the perspectives of leading players from the private sector and create a further enabling environment by addressing challenges and offering incentives, WINDIA 2019 will host a CXO Conclave on Tuesday, 7 August 2019 at The Lalit, New Delhi. The closed-door Conclave is BY INVITATION ONLY, and the invitee list will be finalised by CII.
